전개 모형
전개 모형(Unfolding Model)은 개인과 선택 대상(자극) 모두를 저차원 공유 공간상의 점으로 표현하는 선호 분석을 위한 기하학적 접근법이다. Clyde Coombs의 1950년 선호 선택에 관한 기초 연구에서 시작되어 Borg와 Groenen(2005)에 의해 엄격하게 체계화된 이 모형은, 각 개인이 자신의 이상점(ideal point)에 가장 가까운 자극을 선호한다고 가정하며, 이를 통해 순위 선호 데이터를 공동 공간 지도에 '전개'한다.
