다중 사례 기반 단일 사례 연구(embedded single-case design이라고도 함)는 연구자가 체계적으로 내부에 포함된 여러 하위 단위를 조사함으로써 하나의 경계가 있는 사례(분석의 기본 단위)를 탐구하는 질적 전략입니다. 비교를 위해 여러 개의 별도 사례를 연구하는 대신, 이 설계는 하나의 포괄적인 사례에 모든 분석 주의를 집중하면서 내부 하위 단위 간의 변이를 사용하여 해당 단일 사례에 대한 더 풍부하고 강력한 이해를 구축합니다.
