비교 해석 현상학 분석(Comparative Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis, Comparative IPA)은 조나단 A. 스미스(Jonathan A. Smith)가 개발한 IPA 틀을 적용하여 둘 이상의 서로 다른 집단이나 개인의 삶의 경험을 조사하고 대조하는 방법이다. 단일한 복합적 기술을 생성하기보다는, 집단 내 세부 사항을 보존한 후 원칙에 입각한 집단 간 비교를 수행하여 동일한 현상이 맥락, 정체성 또는 상황에 따라 어떻게 다르게 경험되는지를 밝힌다.
