단축형 신체수행능력 검사(SPPB)는 노인의 하지 신체 기능과 기능적 이동성을 측정하기 위해 1994년 Guralnik과 동료들이 국립노화연구소에서 개발한 수행 기반 평가 도구입니다. 이는 지역사회 거주 노인의 장애, 시설 입소, 사망률을 예측하기 위해 임상 실습 및 역학 연구에서 널리 사용됩니다.
