시뮬레이션 지원 품질 기능 전개(SA-QFD)는 계산 시뮬레이션을 기존 QFD 프레임워크에 통합하여, 공학 설계 결정이 고객 요구사항을 어떻게 충족하는지 평가할 때 비용이 많이 드는 물리적 프로토타입을 대체하거나 보완합니다. 유한 요소 해석, 이산 사건 시뮬레이션 또는 시스템 역학과 같은 시뮬레이션 모델을 품질의 집(House of Quality) 행렬에 내장함으로써, 엔지니어는 기술적 특성이 고객 만족에 미치는 영향을 신속하게 정량화하고 생산에 투입하기 전에 설계 우선순위를 반복적으로 개선할 수 있습니다.
