일치 진단 정확도 연구는 연구 참가자에서 지표 검사가 대상 질환을 얼마나 잘 식별하는지 평가하며, 이는 교란 요인을 통제하기 위해 연령, 성별 또는 질병 중증도와 같은 주요 특성에 대해 참가자를 일치시킨 경우에 해당합니다. 질병이 있는 대상과 질병이 없는 대상을 관련 요인에 대해 짝지은 후 검사를 시행함으로써, 이 설계는 불균형한 공변량에 기인하는 변동으로부터 검사 자체의 판별 성능을 분리하여 민감도, 특이도 및 관련 정확도 측정치의 더 명확한 추정치를 제공합니다.
