요약Self-supervised sentence embeddings train a neural encoder to map sentences into a dense vector space without requiring manually labeled pairs. By constructing positive examples automatically — for instance by passing the same sentence through dropout twice — and using contrastive objectives, the model learns semantically rich representations that transfer well to similarity, retrieval, and classification tasks.Sentence Embeddings convert a sentence or short text into a single fixed-length dense vector that captures its semantic meaning. These vectors allow downstream tasks — semantic similarity, clustering, retrieval, and classification — to operate on numerical representations instead of raw text, making them one of the most versatile building blocks in modern NLP pipelines.
