요약Longitudinal Discourse Analysis (LDA) is a qualitative research approach that examines how discourse — language in use, texts, talk, and representational practices — changes across time. Rather than analysing a single snapshot of language, LDA collects and compares discourse data at multiple points to uncover how meanings, identities, ideologies, or social practices evolve, stabilise, or shift under the influence of historical, institutional, or societal forces.Content analysis is a systematic research technique for reducing text, visual, or media material into coded categories so that patterns can be counted, compared, and interpreted. Formalised by Klaus Krippendorff in his widely cited methodology textbook (latest edition 2018), the method sits at the boundary of qualitative and quantitative inquiry: it imposes structured, replicable coding on inherently meaning-laden material.
