Apgar 점수

Apgar 점수는 1952년 Virginia Apgar가 도입한 것으로, 출생 직후 신생아의 활력 상태를 10점 만점으로 신속하게 평가하는 방법입니다. 출생 1분과 5분에 외모(appearance), 맥박(pulse), 반사(grimace, 반사 자극성), 활동(activity), 호흡(respiration)을 평가하여 신생아 상태와 즉각적인 소생술 필요성을 객관적이고 재현 가능한 측정치로 제공합니다.
