Visual Elicitation Thematic Analysis (VETA) — 画像を触媒とした質的探求
Visual elicitation thematic analysis (VETA) は、写真、描画、その他の画像をインタビューの刺激として用い、より豊かな言語的記述を引き出した上で、その記述を体系的なテーマ分析にかける質的研究手法である。具体的な視覚資料に会話を根付かせることで、純粋な言語的質問では到達しにくい意味、記憶、暗黙知を引き出す。本手法は、医療、教育、コミュニティ、組織研究で広く用いられている。
