Longitudinal Content Analysis — Tracking Meaning Over Time
Longitudinal Content Analysis (LCA) は、テーマ、フレーム、言語、または言説パターンが時間とともにどのように変化または持続するかを検出するために、2つ以上の時点をサンプリングした文書、メディア、またはテキストに体系的な内容分析を適用するものである。内容分析の確立された論理を引き継ぎ、研究者が傾向を追跡し、表現の進化をたどり、歴史的または社会的変化に関する仮説を検証することを可能にする時間的次元を追加する。コミュニケーション研究、政治学、メディア研究、健康科学で広く使用されている。
