縦断的信頼性分析は、2つ以上の時点にわたる測定尺度のの一貫性と安定性を評価するものである。これは、古典的な信頼性の概念（内的整合性、再検査安定性、測定精度）を反復測定デザインに拡張し、観測されたスコアの変化が測定誤差ではなく真の変化を反映することを保証するものである。
