コンピュータ適応型テスト（CAT）
コンピュータ適応型テスト（CAT）は、個々の受験者の潜在能力の継続的な推定値に基づいて、コンピュータアルゴリズムが連続するテスト項目を選択する個別化された評価方法論である。項目応答理論（IRT）に根ざしたCATは、現在の能力推定値 given、各質問が最適に情報を提供するように項目シーケンスを動的に調整する。この枠組みは、1990年に初版が出版され、2000年に第2版が拡張された基礎的な入門書を通じて、ハワード・ウェイナーとその同僚によって体系化され、普及した。
