ソフトシステム方法論（SSM）
ソフトシステム方法論（SSM）は、人間活動が関わる複雑で定義が曖昧な（「ソフトな」）問題状況の構造化と管理のための、解釈学的・実践研究的アプローチである。1970年代を通じてピーター・チェックランドがランカスター大学で開発し、1981年に正式に発表されたSSMは、最適化ではなく構造化された学習を通じて、未構造の問題状況から意図的な行動へと移行する探求の反復サイクルを通じて実践者を導く。
