Widely adopted in maritime engineering, the Holtrop-Mennen method remains the industry standard for preliminary ship design and propulsion power estimation. | Blade element momentum theory (BEM) is a fundamental method for analyzing rotor performance by combining blade element aerodynamics with momentum conservation.
