Analisis Faktor untuk Pengembangan Skala
Analisis faktor eksploratori (EFA) adalah metode statistik untuk menemukan struktur dimensional yang mendasari dari sekumpulan item atau variabel. Dipelopori oleh Louis Thurstone pada pertengahan abad ke-20, EFA banyak digunakan untuk mengembangkan dan memvalidasi skala psikometri dengan mengidentifikasi kelompok item yang berkorelasi, sehingga mengungkap dimensi laten dari konstruk yang diukur. Metode ini mengurangi kumpulan item menjadi sejumlah kecil faktor yang dapat diinterpretasikan.
