Penerapan Fungsi Kualitas Berbasis Risiko

Penerapan Fungsi Kualitas (Quality Function Deployment/QFD) berbasis risiko mengintegrasikan analisis risiko formal — paling umum Analisis Modus Kegagalan dan Efek (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis/FMEA) atau matriks risiko — ke dalam kerangka kerja klasik Rumah Kualitas QFD. Dengan memberi bobot persyaratan pelanggan dan karakteristik teknik terhadap risiko kegagalan yang terkait, tim memprioritaskan keputusan desain dan proses tidak hanya berdasarkan kepentingan pelanggan tetapi juga berdasarkan potensi bahaya, eksposur peraturan, atau dampak keandalan. Metode ini banyak digunakan dalam pengembangan produk otomotif, kedirgantaraan, perangkat medis, dan industri.
