Polytomous Differential Item Functioning (Polytomous DIF)
A polytomous differenciális tétel-funkció (Polytomous DIF) kimutatja, hogy a több mint két rendezett válaszkategóriával rendelkező (pl. Likert-típusú skálák, részleges kreditpontos tételek) teszt vagy kérdőív tétel eltérően működik-e a csoportok között, mint például nem, etnikum vagy nyelvi háttér, miután kontrolláltuk a mért latens vonzót. Kiterjeszti a klasszikus bináris DIF módszereket az ordinális válaszformátumokra.
