The family includes Coarsened Exact Matching (Iacus, King & Porro, 2012), optimal matching, and genetic matching. | Propensity score matching (PSM) is a method for reducing confounding bias in observational studies by balancing baseline characteristics between treatment groups, simulating randomization.
