Korelacijski koeficijent točka-biserijski

Koeficijent točka-biserijske korelacije (r_pb) mjeri snagu i smjer linearne povezanosti između jedne prirodno dihotomne varijable (kodirane 0/1) i jedne kontinuirane varijable. To je poseban slučaj Pearsonova koeficijenta korelacije umnoška i momenta, formalno izveden od strane Tatea (1954.) u časopisu Annals of Mathematical Statistics, i standardni je pokazatelj koji se koristi u psihometrijskoj analizi stavki, studijama valjanosti i bilo kojem istraživačkom kontekstu gdje je binarna grupna varijabla povezana s kontinuiranim ishodom.
