Bayesijanska diskretna simulacija događaja — Modeliranje stohastičkih procesa informiranih posteriorom

Bayesijanska diskretna simulacija događaja (BDES) integrira Bayesijansko statističko zaključivanje s diskretnom simulacijom događaja. Početna vjerovanja o parametrima sustava — kao što su stope usluge, vremena dolazaka ili vjerojatnosti kvara — ažuriraju se s opaženim podacima putem Bayesova teorema, a rezultirajuće posteriorne distribucije izravno pokreću simulacijski mehanizam. Ovo povezivanje omogućuje modelerima da propagiraju i aleatornu i epistemičku nesigurnost kroz modele procesa vođene događajima.
