Uzorak ranga skupova

Uzorak ranga skupova (Ranked Set Sampling, RSS) metoda je prikupljanja podataka koju je 1952. godine uveo G. A. McIntyre, a koja poboljšava učinkovitost procjene kada je vizualno rangiranje jedinica lakše ili jeftinije od stvarnog mjerenja. Namjernim odabirom i mjerenjem jedinica za koje se procjenjuje da će dati željene ishode, RSS smanjuje varijancu u usporedbi s jednostavnim slučajnim uzorkovanjem, a pritom zadržava nepristranost.
