Z-skeniranje

Tehnika Z-skeniranja je eksperimentalna metoda za mjerenje nelinearnih optičkih svojstava materijala, posebice nelinearne optičke susceptibilnosti trećeg reda i nelinearne apsorpcije. Razvijen od strane Sheik-Bahaea, Hagana i Van Strylanda 1990. godine, Z-skeniranje koristi usko fokusiran laserski snop i pomiče uzorak duž osi širenja snopa (z-osi), bilježeći promjenu transmisije kako bi se s visokom osjetljivošću odredili koeficijenti nelinearne refrakcije i apsorpcije.
