Analiza dinamičke modularnosti proširuje klasični okvir modularnosti na mreže koje se razvijaju tijekom vremena, otkrivajući zajednice kroz niz presjeka mreže, istodobno kažnjavajući nepotrebne promjene zajednica između vremenskih koraka.
