Hash funkcija SHA

Sigurna hash funkcija (Secure Hash Algorithm, SHA) jest obitelj kriptografskih hash funkcija koje je NIST standardizirao počevši od 1993. godine. SHA funkcije proizvode sažetke fiksne duljine iz ulaznih podataka proizvoljne duljine, služeći kao temeljni gradivni element za digitalne potpise, provjeru autentičnosti poruka i provjeru integriteta podataka u aplikacijama kritičnim za sigurnost.
