Part of the Achenbach System of Empirically Based Assessment (ASEBA), the YSR parallels the parent-completed Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) and teacher-completed Teacher Report Form (TRF), enabling comprehensive multi-informant assessment of adolescent mental health and functioning. | The Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ), developed by Robert Goodman in 1997 and validated by 2001, is a brief 25-item behavioral screening instrument for children aged 2–17 years.
