Optimizacija datuma sjetve je sustav za podršku odlučivanju za određivanje optimalnih datuma sadnje usjeva koji usklađuju fenološki razvoj s povoljnim ekološkim prozorima, maksimizirajući prinos i smanjujući klimatski rizik. Razvijena od strane modelara usjeva (Aggarwal, Semenov) 2000-ih, ova metoda kombinira simulaciju usjeva, klimatske podatke i analizu rizika za identifikaciju sigurnih, profitabilnih prozora sjetve.
