פלגיאט מוסאי (Mosaic Plagiarism)
פלגיאט מוסאי, המכונה גם 'כתיבת טלאים' (patch-writing), מתרחש כאשר מחבר משלב קטעי טקסט שהועתקו ממקור יחד עם טקסט מקורי, מסדר מחדש חומר ממקורות מרובים, או שוזר קטעים ששונתה בהם המילה (paraphrased) וקטעים שהועתקו מילה במילה ללא ציטוט או סימני פיסוק מתאימים. קשה לזהות אותו מכיוון שהחלקים המועתקים משולבים בכתיבה המקורית, ויוצרים מראית עין של עבודה מקורית.
