סטטיסטיקות F (FST)
סטטיסטיקות F הן משפחה של מדדים שפותחו על ידי סוול רייט (Sewall Wright) כדי לכמת את המבנה הגנטי של אוכלוסיות ואת מידת ההבדלה הגנטית בין אוכלוסיות. FST, סטטיסטיקת F הנפוצה ביותר, מודדת את שיעור השונות הגנטית הכוללת המיוחס להבדלים בין אוכלוסיות לעומת הבדלים בתוך אוכלוסיות. FST נע בין אפס (אין הבדלה) לאחד (הבדלה מלאה). סטטיסטיקות אלו הפכו לכלים יסודיים להבנת מבנה אוכלוסיות, זיהוי תערובת אוכלוסיות וניתוח הכוחות האבולוציוניים המעצבים שונות גנטית.
