GAN למידה-מונחית-למחצה (SGAN) מרחיב את ה-discriminator הסטנדרטי של GAN כדי לסווג בו-זמנית דוגמאות מתויגות לקטגוריות אמיתיות K ולזהות דגימות מפוברקות כקטגוריה (K+1), כאשר נתוני הסינתזה של ה-generator משמשים כרגולריזציה מרומזת ומאפשרים אימון מסווגים חזקים עם מעט מאוד דוגמאות מתויגות.
