Yksikköhydrografia
Yksikköhydrografia (UH) on lineaarinen muunnos, joka muuntaa sadannan ylimäärän purovirtaamaksi valuma-alueella. Shermanin vuonna 1932 esittelemä UH olettaa, että sadanta-valuntareaktio on lineaarinen ja aikariippumaton, mahdollistaen tulvahydrografioiden synteesin suunnittelusateista patojen ylivuotoaukkojen suunnittelua ja tulvariskien arviointia varten.
