Einzelzell-Metabolomik-Analyse
Die Einzelzell-Metabolomik-Analyse misst den Gehalt an niedermolekularen Metaboliten einzelner Zellen und deckt so zelluläre metabolische Heterogenität auf, die bei Bulk-Methoden durch Mittelung verschleiert wird. Basierend auf Fortschritten in der Massenspektrometrie und Mikrofluidik ermöglicht sie Forschern, metabolische Zustände über Zellpopulationen hinweg abzubilden, seltene Subpopulationen zu identifizieren und metabolische Phänotypen mit zellulärer Funktion zu verknüpfen – und bietet damit eine funktionelle Ergänzung zur Transkriptomik und Proteomik auf Einzelzellebene.
