Stokastisk køsimulering — Probabilistisk modellering af ventelinjesystemer

Stokastiske køsimuleringsmodeller modellerer ventelinjesystemer, hvor ankomst- og serviceprocesser følger sandsynlighedsfordelinger snarere end faste rater. Ved at simulere tusindvis af tilfældige hændelser estimerer den præstationsmål — gennemsnitlig ventetid, kølængde, serverudnyttelse — under realistisk usikkerhed, hvilket gør den til standardværktøjet til design og evaluering af serviceydelsessystemer fra hospitaler til callcentre.
