Wiener-filter

Wiener-filteret er et optimalt lineært filter, der minimerer middel kvadratfejl mellem det ønskede signal og filterets output, givet kendskab til signal- og støjstatisktik. Udviklet af Norbert Wiener i 1949, udgør det det teoretiske fundament for optimal filtrering og forbliver benchmarken, som alle andre lineære filtreringsmetoder sammenlignes med.
