Evaluationsorienteret multilevel mixed methods er et forskningsdesign, der kombinerer kvantitative og kvalitative data på tværs af hierarkisk indlejrede niveauer i en organisation eller et system — såsom elever i klasser i skoler — for at evaluere et program, en politik eller en intervention. Ved at indfange resultater, processer og kontekstuelle faktorer samtidigt på hvert niveau, producerer dette design rigere evalueringsinferenser end enten rent statistiske multilevel-modeller eller kvalitative evalueringer på enkeltniveau alene.
