Bayesiansk hypotesetestning

Bayesiansk hypotesetestning er et kvantitativt design, hvor konkurrerende hypoteser evalueres ved at opdatere forudgående overbevisninger med observerede data for at producere posterior-sandsynligheder og Bayes-faktorer. I modsætning til frequentistisk nulhypotesesignifikans-testning kvantificerer den den relative evidens for hver hypotese, understøtter valgfri stop og tillader akkumulering af evidens på tværs af studier uden at oppuste Type I-fejl-rater.
