Robust processtilstandsanalyse

Robust processtilstandsanalyse udvider klassiske tilstandsvariable (Cp, Cpk, Ppk) ved at erstatte stikprøvegennemsnittet og standardafvigelsen med robuste lokations- og skalestimater – såsom medianen, trimmede gennemsnit, MAD eller IQR-baseret spredning – således at outliers og ikke-normale procesfordelinger ikke oppuster eller forvrænger tilstandsskønnet. Resultatet er en mere pålidelig vurdering af, hvorvidt en produktions- eller serviceproces konsekvent kan overholde specifikationsgrænserne.
