Bayesiansk kohortestudie

Et bayesiansk kohortestudie følger en defineret gruppe individer over tid for at estimere incidens, risiko eller rate af udfald, samtidig med at bayesiansk statistisk inferens anvendes til at inkorporere forudgående viden og kvantificere usikkerhed gennem posterior sandsynlighedsfordelinger snarere end klassiske p-værdier og konfidensintervaller. Det kombinerer det longitudinelle observationsdesign af et kohortestudie med sandsynlighedsopdateringslogikken af bayesiansk analyse, hvilket muliggør rigere usikkerhedskvantificering og sekventiel opdatering, efterhånden som data akkumuleres.
