Differential Metabolomics Analyse — Identifikation af Statistisk Signifikante Metabolitændringer på Tværs af Betingelser

Differential metabolomics analyse er en beregningsmæssig pipeline, der identificerer metabolitter, hvis abundansniveauer adskiller sig signifikant mellem to eller flere biologiske betingelser — såsom sygdom versus kontrol, behandlet versus ubehandlet, eller forskellige udviklingsstadier. Ved at integrere massespektrometri- eller NMR-data med statistisk modellering og pathway-databaser, oversætter den rå spektrale målinger til biologisk fortolkelige lister over perturbede metaboliske træk og de pathways, de implicerer.
