Bayesiansk lineær regression

Bayesiansk lineær regression er en probabilistisk udvidelse af den ordinære lineære model, introduceret gennem Bayes' sætning og formaliseret i dens moderne beregningsmæssige workflow af Gelman et al. (2013). I stedet for at returnere et enkelt punktestimat for hver koefficient, kombinerer den en bruger-specificeret prior-fordeling med sandsynligheden for de observerede data for at producere en fuld posterior-fordeling over alle parametre, hvorfra troværdighedsintervaller og posterior prædiktive fordelinger udledes.
