Mètode de Fiabilitat de Segon Ordre (SORM)
El Mètode de Fiabilitat de Segon Ordre (SORM) és una extensió del FORM que millora les estimacions de la probabilitat de fallada tenint en compte la curvatura de la superfície de límit-estat en el punt de disseny. Introduït per Fiessler, Neumann i Rackwitz el 1979, el SORM proporciona aproximacions més precises per a superfícies de fallada no lineals, mantenint-se computacionalment eficient. S'ha convertit en el refinament estàndard quan l'exactitud del FORM és insuficient.
