Comptatge Rainflow
El comptatge Rainflow és un mètode de recompte de cicles de fatiga que converteix un historial d'esforços complex en cicles individuals per a l'avaluació de danys. Desenvolupat per Tatsuo Endo i els seus col·legues el 1974, proporciona la representació més realista físicament del dany per fatiga quan es combina amb la hipòtesi lineal de dany acumulat de Miner. L'algoritme s'ha convertit en l'estàndard industrial en enginyeria de fiabilitat i anàlisi de vibracions.
