L'aprenentatge per transferència semi-supervisat combina el coneixement transferit d'un domini font amb etiquetes abundants amb l'estructura de dades de domini objectiu sense etiquetar, utilitzant només un petit conjunt d'exemples objectiu etiquetats per aconseguir una forta generalització on l'anotació completa és escassa o costosa.
