L'anàlisi de sentiments adaptativa al domini entrena un model de sentiments en un o més dominis font etiquetats (p. ex., ressenyes de productes) i l'adapta a un domini objectiu (p. ex., publicacions a xarxes socials o notícies) on les etiquetes són escasses o absents. En salvar la bretxa de vocabulari i distribució entre dominis, s'aconsegueix una classificació de sentiments sòlida sense necessitar grans corpus etiquetats en cada domini objectiu.
