L'Avaluació Post-Ocupació (POE) és un mètode sistemàtic per avaluar fins a quin punt un edifici completat satisfà les necessitats i expectatives dels seus ocupants, comparant el rendiment previst amb el rendiment real. Formalitzada per Wolfgang Preiser als anys 80, la POE s'ha tornat essencial per aprendre quines estratègies de disseny funcionen, identificar problemes per a la seva correcció i millorar projectes futurs.
