TERCOM
Terrain Contour Matching (TERCOM) és un mètode de navegació assistida per terreny que corregeix les estimacions de posició comparant mesures d'altímetre amb un mapa digital d'elevació (DEM) emmagatzemat. Desenvolupat per Boeing durant la dècada de 1980 per a la guia de míssils de creuer, TERCOM permet una navegació precisa en entorns negats per GPS aprofitant la signatura del terreny única de cada ubicació. TERCOM continua sent essencial per a la guia de míssils, vehicles submarins autònoms i sistemes que operen en escenaris de interferències.
