নির্ভুলতা
Precision পরিমাপ করে যে কত শতাংশ ইতিবাচক ভবিষ্যদ্বাণী (positive predictions) প্রকৃতপক্ষে সঠিক ছিল। এটি এই প্রশ্নের উত্তর দেয়: 'আমরা যতগুলি কেসকে ইতিবাচক বলে ভবিষ্যদ্বাণী করেছি, তার মধ্যে কতগুলি সত্যিই ইতিবাচক ছিল?' যে পরিস্থিতিতে মিথ্যা ইতিবাচক (false positives) ব্যয়বহুল, সেখানে Precision অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
