كفاءة استخدام النيتروجين
تقييم وتحسين كفاءة استخدام النيتروجين (NUE) هو خط أنابيب تحليلي لتقييم مدى فعالية المحاصيل في تحويل سماد النيتروجين المطبق إلى حبوب أو كتلة حيوية أو ناتج اقتصادي. طورت هذه الطريقة من قبل باحثين في علوم المحاصيل (Dobermann, Raun) في العقد الأول من القرن الحادي والعشرين، وهي تقيس فقدان النيتروجين وتحدد ممارسات الإدارة لتحسين كل من إنتاجية المحاصيل والاستدامة البيئية.
