合成孔径雷达图像分析

将 SAR 想象成一只从太空发出回声定位的蝙蝠。卫星发射雷达脉冲,并监听地面将它们反射回来的强度。像平静的水面这样的光滑表面就像一面镜子,会将信号反射走,返回的能量很少。崎岖的地形、森林或建筑物会将脉冲强烈地散射回来。通过分析回波的强度和极化信息,分析人员可以区分农作物和森林,探测被淹没的田地,或者绘制冰盖图,即使在浓密的云层下或夜间也能做到。
