多案例建构主义扎根理论（Multiple case-based constructivist grounded theory, CGT）将 Kathy Charmaz 的建构主义扎根理论框架与审慎的多案例设计相结合。研究者同时收集并分析来自两个或多个有目的选择的案例的数据，跨案例应用迭代编码、持续比较和理论抽样，以构建一个既能解释案例内部深度又能体现跨案例差异的扎根理论。由此产生的理论被理解为研究者与参与者共同建构的，而非客观发现的。
